Q4 Coach Challenge: Complete 3 On-Demand NBHWC Sponsored CE Events
Quarterly Coach Challenges are designed to help you fully leverage the benefits of your NBC-HWC credential. Each challenge will spotlight a key benefit of certification and provide an easy, actionable way to keep your credential working for you.

Your NBC-HWC certification gives you access to continuing education that helps you sharpen your skills, discover new ideas, and earn CEs toward recertification
This quarter’s Coach Challenge encourages you to explore the newly updated NBHWC On-Demand CE Library by completing at least three NBHWC Sponsored CE Events. Choose topics that interest you and complete the courses whenever they fit your schedule. Learn from experts in health and wellness coaching, gain practical insights to bring to your work, and make progress toward recertification.
What Are NBHWC Sponsored CE Events?
NBHWC hosts Sponsored CE Events for the NBC-HWC community, featuring experts in health and wellness coaching. These events give subject matter experts opportunities to share topics related to developing coaching competencies and advancements in health and wellness coaching.
Each event is worth 1 CE (unless otherwise stated) and is FREE to NBC-HWCs.
NBC-HWCs can earn up to 18 CEs per 3-year recertification cycle.
Formerly known as Quarterly Connects or Connect & Learns, these events are now offered more often throughout the year. 2026 is the first year to offer six events!

Complete Three On-Demand CE courses
Log in to your NBC-HWC profile. From the homepage, select the Recertification tab and select NBHWC Sponsored CE. Your on-demand library login is the same as your NBC-HWC login credentials.

Browse the NBHWC On-Demand CE Library and choose at least three courses that align with your interests and professional goals.
Watch the recording & complete the quiz
You must watch the video in full to take the quiz and earn the certificate of completion.
Tip: Learn at your own pace throughout the quarter. Try completing one course each month or setting aside dedicated learning time that works for you.
How much do on-demand courses cost?
On-demand courses are complimentary for active NBC-HWCs. Members of the public may purchase individual courses for $30 per course. If you are logging in for the first time, please watch the walkthrough video above to ensure you are getting the courses for free.
How do I participate in the Q4 Coach Challenge?
Complete at least three courses in the NBHWC On-Demand CE Library between October 1 and December 31. Once you complete each course, you have completed the challenge. No additional submission is required and you will add the course to your CE tracker. The goal of this challenge is to familiarize yourself with the updated on-demand ce library and earn CE toward recertification.
Do I need to complete specific courses?
No. You may choose any three courses currently available in the NBHWC On-Demand CE Library. Select the topics that are most relevant to your interests, coaching practice, or professional development goals.
Is there a limit to how many CEs I can earn from Sponsored CE Events?
NBC-HWCs may earn up to 18 CEs from NBHWC Sponsored CE Events during each three-year recertification cycle.
Do live Sponsored CE Events count toward the Q4 Coach Challenge?
The Q4 Coach Challenge specifically focuses on courses in the On-Demand CE Library. Participation in live Sponsored CE Events is still encouraged and provides additional opportunities to learn and earn CEs, but live events do not count toward this three-course challenge.
What should I do if I previously completed a course or do not see my past course history?
Check to see if you completed the course in the prior platform here. Log in and download all certificates to your computer or mobile device as you may need to provide them if you are randomly selected for an audit in the future. Try to select courses that you have not yet completed.
I have already completed 18 CEs from NBHWC Sponsored CE Events? Can I earn more?
Congratulations on completing half of your 36 CE requirements! A maximum of 18 CEs may be applied during your 3-year recertification cycle. You are still welcome to explore the library and view any sessions that interest you, but additional Sponsored CE Events will not count toward your CE requirement during your current cycle.
Will my completed courses automatically appear in my CE Tracker?
Once you complete the quiz and receive the certificate of completion, NBC-HWCs will add the course to their CE tracker sheet. Coming soon: Launching December 1st, all CE will be tracked through your online portal, and these events will automatically be added to your profile.
